Emory Knoll Farms sells wholesale and retail. Wholesale customers; please call for product pricing and shipping information. A 3 flat minimum initial order is required. Flats may vary in number of plants according to variety.
New Customers:
New customers are required to complete a credit application & personal guarantee and to pay 50% down payment to confirm the first order. Payment and credit application / personal guarantee are required at least two weeks prior to the desired shipment date,
On subsequent orders, all bills are due at net in 30 days, except customer pick-ups which are due upon pick up. 2% interest per month (24% year) will be added to any bills left unpaid after 30 days.
All Orders:
We accept Cash, Check, or Money Order.
Orders must be placed at least one week prior to desired ship or pick up date.
Accounts showing 60 days past due will automatically be put on hold until payment arrangements have been made. All available or accrued discounts will be forfeited until the account has been brought up to date.
Customers failing to meet payment terms will be placed on pre-paid terms for all future orders.
All plant material sold by Emory Knoll Farms must be unpacked on the day of arrival. Failure to do so will void all warranties.
No claims will be allowed for shortages or errors unless reported within 1 week of receipt of goods. Please inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival.
Any returned material will be subject to a 20% handling charge.
A $25 fee will be charged in addition to any bank fees for all returned checks.
The buyer agrees that in the event of default by nonpayment of an overdue account, they shall be liable for collection charges including reasonable attorney fees.

We are happy to quote on your custom growing needs. Terms vary depending on the number and variety of plants needed, the scheduled completion date and the resale value of the order in the event of cancellation. An advance, nonrefundable deposit of one third the order value will be required. Please call to request a custom grow form.
Custom grown plants will be held at the net agreed upon price for up to 30 days after scheduled completion date. After that time a 15% holding fee will be assessed. At 90 days past due, plants will become the property of Emory Knoll Farms, unless other arrangements have been made.
We are always delighted when our customers pick up. We ask that we have your order at least one week in advance so we can have your entire order picked and waiting at our Street, Maryland facility. Our shipping department is now located at Emory Knoll Farms in Street, MD and all pickups will be automatically scheduled for that location.
Large shipments are boxed, loaded on pallets, stretch wrapped and shipped by common carrier. 100 flat minimum. One whole pallet is 96-120 flats.
There is a $2.50/box charge included in shipping costs (3 72-cell flats per box or 2 DP36 cell flats). Plants are boxed in specially-designed boxes to protect the plants during shipping. We ship Monday through Wednesday. Be sure to unpack your plants immediately upon arrival!
Emory Knoll Farms is inspected annually by the Maryland Department of Agriculture and meets applicable Maryland Requirements. Certain states and countries require individual inspections for each shipment. Emory Knoll Farms will notify you if an inspection is required. Inspection fees are US$25, minimum.
Our plants are shipped in a condition in which they can stand normal handling and storage for up to 1 week. However, extremely hot or wet conditions for prolonged periods are to be avoided. Plants should be unpacked immediately upon arrival and placed in an area with abundant sunlight and ventilation. As long as plants are stored in the cell-packs, they should be watered periodically to ensure the vitality of the plants. Emory Knoll Farms will not be responsible for damage due to mishandling and improper storage.
