Description
In addition to the standard features of the species, this variety offers some color variation in early spring, with new leaves emerging white or variegated, with tinges of pink or red. Foliage becomes solid green through the summer, turning reddish with colder temperatures in the fall and winter. Leaves are retained throughout the winter. Not only heat resistant and drought tolerant, this plant is reliably hardy and provides interest year round. Foliage forms a dense carpet which spreads over time to cover a good-sized area. Dainty, airy white flowers bloom in midsummer. Be aware when planting that the amount of sun and water this plant receives also affects the color of the foliage. A good choice for early spring interest in any planting. Large quantities may require custom growing. Please contact office for lead times.
