Description
The foliage of this species becomes absolutely covered by a carpet of violet-blue flowers from early Spring to Midsummer. Grown mostly for its flowers which attract butterflies and bees when in bloom. Foliage comprised of soft, tiny blue-green leaves forms a low, dense mat. This plant will tolerate some shade. It will benefit from a deeper soil profile or mounded green roof media, and will need regular watering to become established. Foliage remains dark green throughout much of the winter, making this a fine year-round selection. Very drought tolerant. This is a custom order plant.
