Description
Aptly named "Snow-in-Summer", this species is a strong and sturdy groundcover that will do well on a green roof with reliable moisture. An abundance of white flowers in late spring are a bonus to the eye-catching silver or gray-green foliage. Will benefit from a deeper soil profile or mounded green roof media, and regular watering. Grown mostly for its stunning foliage which can persist though the fall and well into winter. We recommend planning for regular maintenance when using this plant on green roofs. Available spring only. Please contact office for lead times.
