Description
Delospermas have proven their success on green roofs; they tend to be floriferous and have long bloom cycles. 'Lavender Ice' is one of the successful newer Delosperma varieties in the trade. Like most Delospermas, it is a drought tolerant groundcover. Blooming in a spectacular display in the late Spring, this plant can re-bloom until frost. A multitude of lavender flowers attract pollinators. Foliage color deepens to a dark bronze and is sometimes tinged with purple in the winter. Very fast growing, it is a great plant for rapid cover or to let hang over an edge. Large quantities may require custom growing. Please contact the office for lead times.
