Description
Featuring the brightest red color of the albums, this variety spreads quickly and close to the ground, typically growing to a height of 2" or less. This album has a tighter habit than the species and forms very dense, carpet-like mats. Foliage is green and red in summer and turns brilliant red to coral pink in the colder months, and also in stress (due to drought, cold etc.). Airy, white flowers bloom in midsummer. This variety is reliably hardy and provides interest year round.
