Description
The cultivar name means "Little Evergreen" in German. This is a tough yet beautiful plant with green to reddish foliage that explodes in a profusion of stunning bright gold flowers in the summer. Blooms attract pollinators. In autumn, the leaves turn bright red-orange with lime and yellow tones, creating one of the best cold weather displays. The foliage persists through the winter. A very adaptable plant, this species spreads quickly to create a mat, but is somewhat slower growing than the similar looking Sedum kamtschaticum. 'Immergrunchen' will also tolerant some shade, making it a very versatile green roof plant.
