Description
Much sought after for its eye-catching yellow to lime-green foliage, glossy leaves, and uniquely shaped foliage, this plant is an excellent choice for green roofs located in the Pacific Northwest (US). Yellow star-shaped flowers appear in Midsummer. A slower growing plant. In general, this plant needs more care than other green roof plants. It will also need some shade during the day, regardless of where it is planted. Unfortunately, we have not found this plant to be a good choice for roofs outside the range of its preferred climate. It tends to be short-lived on East Coast roofs, sometimes lasting only one growing season. This plant does work well in protected rock gardens and pots where it can receive the care it needs. This is a custom order plant. Please contact the office for lead times.
