Description
Another tough, reliable dark green-leaved, yellow-flowering groundcover. This plant was a star in the Michigan State plant trials. This variety is typically one of the earliest green roof plants to bloom in the season. Showy red seed heads appear after flowering. It is very similar in habit and appearance to Sedum kamtschaticum var. floriferum 'Weihenstephaner Gold', but it blooms earlier in the season. Foliage turns a beautiful red before dropping in the coldest months. Small maroon-red rosettes are set in winter. An outstanding selection on a green roof for seasonal interest and reliability.
