Description
This species features fleshy, rounded, pale blue-green leaves edged with dark pink on arching stems. Individual plants form rounded mounds of foliage that creates a bold texture when planted in groups. This is an excellent choice for a late season display of color. Bright pink flowers provide quite a showcase in mid-autumn, at a time when the leaves are also turning pinkish-red in response to the cooler temperatures. Dormant in the winter months. Slower growing than than groundcover sedums and without winter interest, it's best to use this plant as an accent. This species will also benefit from extra care to establish on a roof or in a wall. Well worth the effort!
