Emory Knoll Farms is a leading supplier of plants and plant expertise for extensive green roof systems.  We offer a high level of service in selecting the optimal plants for each installation.  We currently stock over 100 varieties of green roof plants and are always acquiring and testing new plants. We have supplied plants for green roofs in nineteen states, District of Columbia, and Canada; as well as overseas.  We have R&D plots on site to test plants, and we work with universities, supporting various green roof research projects.  See our R&D pages for details.

Emory Knoll Farms is dedicated to sustainable design and has instituted several sustainable design features into its operation. For example, solar power pumps all the water used in the greenhouse and photovoltaic cells supply most of our electrical needs.

Emory Knoll Farms is the only plant supplier that focuses exclusively on plants for extensive green roofs.  We are experienced in working with different roofing systems, soil mixes, manufacturers & designers, and climates.  Our business model is based on offering the highest level of service in the industry.

We offer a wide selection of plant material.  We can provide many plants varieties in plugs, cuttings, or seeds. We also offer our extensive roof garden experience, and expertise to all green roof projects. We are happy to custom propagate plants to your specifications, or assist in developing plant specifications for any projects.
