Sedum telephium ‘Vera Jameson’

Description

A beautiful Sedum telephium cross, this taller variety of Sedum offers seasonal color on a green roof. Similar to the better known ‘Autumn Joy’, but but with far more visual interest. Blue-green foliage turning to shades of purple in the late summer, with dark reddish-purple stems. A good choice for attracting pollinators. The taller foliage makes for a nice accent and increases the potential for biodiversity. Foliage drops in cooler temperatures, however the dried stems and flower heads remain strong all winter.

This plant will benefit from a deeper soil profile or where the green roof media has been mounded.

We keep this plant in smaller quantities in our regular inventory. Please contact the office for lead times.
